Beauty Counter to Beauty Biz

I’ve never been overly vain, it’s just I have always liked to feel comfortable in my skin. Makeup & good skin help have always helped me feel that way. My mother & grandmother also, always had makeup & hair done. My grandmother died of cancer & when she was dying she had to have her makeup bag within reach so she could grab her lipstick to put on! The love for makeup may run deep.

In 1998 I was working for an lawyer & he was fresh out of law school & about 2 years younger than me. He was annoying. One day he just pushed me over the edge. Little did he know he pushed me right into my future in beauty. I walked out that day & walked straight to the mall, into Marshall Filed’s Department Store & got hired at the beauty counter! I thrived there. I loved all of it. I had found my people & my place.

Since then life has been a journey and about 10 years ago I started a wedding makeup & hair company, Columbus Wedding Makeup & Hair. Tami Krebs Beauty was born out of that. Brides need makeup. They need lipstick. They need advice. They need to have one less thing off their plate and to think about! I’m so happy to be that person to help. With decades of experience I can expertly help navigate clients to what they need without the hard sell like we did at the beauty counter. We had numbers to meet. I don’t have that here.

I offer virtual classes (thank you pandemic) and in person (thank you science) to educate clients on different niches areas of this industry. From skincare routines, to smokey eyes or to personal shop. We can Makeup over that Makeup bag of yours and find what has expired and how to use that one product you bought but now don’t know what to do with. This is what I love to do!
